Many have mistaken this particular pastry for cookies in a cup but I will be setting the records straight today so without much further ado, here we go.
Here’s a step by step video of me making this delicacy on Youtube.
For this recipe, you will need;
2 eggs at room temperature

2 teaspoons a(10ml) of Vanilla extract
1/3 cup of unsalted butter melted and cooled to room temp.
11/4 cup (115g) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons (8g) of baking powder
1/4 tsp (1g) of salt
3/4 cup (150g) sugar
1 cup of mini chocolate and milk chips
1/2 cup of milk
You will also need
A spatula
2 mixing bowls
Measuring Cups and Spoons
Cupcake Mold
Cupcake Liners
A whisk
Let’s get to baking but before we do, note that this recipe makes between 8/9 muffins.
Step 1: In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and vanilla and mix.
Step 2: Add in your chocolate and milk chips, and mix till it’s all coated with flour.
Step 3: Set aside
Step 4: In a large bowl, add your egg, whisk for a minute then add in your sour cream, vanilla extract, and butter then mix until well combined.
Step 5: Add in your dry ingredients a little at a time till the batter is fluffy. Then divide amongst the cupcake liners, and make sure you only fill up to half of the liners.
Step 6: Preheat oven to 425 Fahrenheit or 220 Celsius
Step 7: Put your cupcake molds into the oven for 5 minutes then reduce to 375 Fahrenheit or 200 Celsius for 15 minutes without opening the oven.
Let your cupcakes sit on the cooling rack for 5 extra minutes then they are all yours to enjoy!!.
Will you try this recipe, let me know when you do.
