Lemon Cupcakes Recipe/ Moist, Soft, and Fluffy Cupcakes / Easy Recipe
As a lemon lover, I am always looking for baking recipes that would include my lovely lemons, and when I finally found, made, and tasted lemon cupcakes, I couldn’t fathom why people love vanilla cupcakes. I have nothing against vanilla cupcakes but lemon has turned out to be my true love.

To recreate this recipe, you will need;
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tbsp of lemon zest
1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter
1/4 cup of milk (room temp)
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1 egg (room temp)
1/4 cup of sour cream (room temp)
3/4 cup of Ap flour
A pinch of salt
3/4 tsp of baking powder
1/4 baking soda
Cooking Temperature
Bake at 190 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes
Please note that this recipe makes between 6/8 cupcakes depending on liner size.
Let’s get to the steps;
Mix sugar with lemon zest and set aside.
In a clean bowl, sieve in the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Set it aside.
In another bowl, pour in melted butter, and add sour cream, egg, lemon juice, and milk.
Pour into this mix, the sugar and lemon zest you mixed earlier.
Whisk till it’s just combined and add in dry ingredients. Mix till it’s well combined. Pour into liners and it should look like this;
Pop in your preheated oven, and check the top for cooking temperatures and time.
And voila! your tasty lemon cupcakes are ready!!!.
