Step 1: Pour your sifted flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into a dry mixing bowl.
Step 2: Pour in your powdered sugar and powdered food coloring. whisk and set aside.
Step 3: Pour into a second bowl the measured milk. oil and eggs and whisk.
Step 4: Stir in the dry ingredients slowly till your batter is creamy and fluffy.
Please note that you can use either powdered food coloring or liquid food coloring. Whichever you decide, keep in mind that dry ingredients go together and wet ingredients go together.
Step 5: Set your paper or tin muffin foils in your already-lined oven tray or your muffin tray. Pour your batter in till it reaches half of the foil allowing it space to rise and pop it in your preheated oven. (Preheat to 170 degrees Celsius or 340 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 15 minutes).
You could also follow your oven instructions, mine comes with instructions for all kinds of baked foods.
Pop them out in 15 minutes, leave them to chill on a rack, and like that, your Red velvet cupcakes are ready to be devoured.
